Scar Sheet Directions

• First, ensure that the wound area is dry, clean, and free from any secretions and the damaged tissue is in the remodeling phase.
• Then, remove the protective plastic cover of the scar sheet and apply the sticky side to the scar.
• For maximum effectiveness, it is recommended to wear the DG. Derm® Scar Sheet for 12 to 20 hours during the day, and during the remaining hours, you can use the DG. Derm® Scar Gel 3 to 4 times. (For sensitive skin, it is better to start treatment with one hour per day and gradually increase the treatment duration to 12 hours per day if no sensitivity occurs)
• When using these sheets, be careful to cover about 2 centimeters around the scar and avoid pulling the tape too tightly onto the skin to prevent redness and potential treatment complications.
• The treatment period depends on scar size (approximately 3 to 6 months), but if the scar is not too old or for preventive purposes, 8 to 12 weeks of treatment is sufficient for scar improvement.
• DG. Derm® Scar Sheet can be fully used for up to 2 months if stored properly. It is recommended to gently wash these tapes with a mild soap like baby shampoo every week, then lay them on a non-sticky cotton cloth at room temperature to fully dry and reuse. Due to the gradual decrease in the adhesive properties of the silicone sheet during the treatment period, it may be necessary to secure them to the skin with hypoallergenic paper tape after several days.

Silicone Scar Sheet Caution

• Do not use it if you have a history of sensitivity to silicone (or silicone derivatives).
• Scar Sheets should not be used on open wounds, third-degree burns, or stitches.
• Concurrent use of these sheets with other medications is not an issue, but ensure that the area under the Scar Sheet is clean and free from any creams or other medications during use.
• Store below 5-40 °C.
• Keep out of reach of children.

Due to the lack of systemic absorption of silicone products, they rarely cause side effects.
